Every great group trip starts with a message like 'we should actually do this.' Most die right there. Here's the checklist that gets yours from idea to boarding pass.

8 weeks out: lock the basics

Pick one organizer. Set the destination, dates and a per-person budget. Collect a headcount and ask who's sharing rooms. Check our city guides for ideas on where to stay and what to do.

6 weeks out: book the rooms

For hotels, the organizer can book up to 8 rooms instantly in one PikPakGo search. For bigger groups, send a 9+ room request from the Groups page. Prefer one shared space? Look at whole vacation homes under Hotels & rentals.

4 weeks out: flights and fun

Search flights for up to 6 travelers per booking and line up arrival times so you can share rides. Then book tours, shows and activities while the best time slots are still open.

1 week out: the final run-through

Share the itinerary, confirmation details and check-in times with everyone. Manage bookings anytime in My Trips, and if plans change, request changes or cancellations there so the right policy applies.
