Las Vegas convention travel
Where to stay near the Las Vegas Convention Center
Start with your exhibit hall, not just a hotel’s distance to a single venue pin. North, Central, South and West Hall have different entrances. Check your registration or exhibitor plan before choosing a room.

- Paradise Road & convention-center area
- Compare the hotel’s actual pedestrian route to your assigned hall. A short straight-line distance does not account for crossings, campus entrances or the walk inside the show.
- North Strip & West Hall
- Check West Hall access separately. The Monorail operator describes connections from the other halls via Paradise Bridge or the Vegas Loop; verify current event access and service before relying on either.
- Strip hotels near Monorail stations
- A station-side stay can suit a rail-based commute. Boingo Station serves LVCC, but the Monorail and the Vegas Loop are different systems. Include the walk to the station and from the station to your hall in your plan.
Common questions before you book
- What hotels are closest to the Las Vegas Convention Center?
- Hotels along Paradise Road and the convention-center area, plus north Strip resorts, are the nearest options. Closest on a map is not always quickest: compare the actual walking route to your hall's entrance, including street crossings.
- Which hall is my show in, and does it matter?
- Yes. North, Central and South Hall share the main campus, while West Hall sits on the other side of the campus with its own entrance. Check your registration or exhibitor plan before choosing a hotel.
- Can I take the Monorail to the convention center?
- The Las Vegas Monorail stops at Boingo Station at the convention center. It runs along the east side of the Strip, so it suits hotels near a Monorail station. Add the walk from your room to the station and from the station to your hall.
- Is the Vegas Loop the same as the Monorail?
- No. They are separate systems with different stations, hours and access rules. The Loop moves visitors around the convention campus and to some connected resorts; check current operator details for your event dates.
- Should I stay on Paradise Road or the center Strip?
- Paradise Road can shorten a hall-focused commute. A center-Strip resort gives more dining and evening options but usually means a Monorail, Loop or rideshare trip each day. Compare full stay totals, including reported resort fees, plus daily transport costs.
